The “Two Sum” problem is an introductory algorithm problem that you may come across in job interviews. It’s a beginner friendly problem that has several common solutions — although they aren’t all made equal. Let’s have a look at two of them.
The problem is as follows: “Given an array of integers
nums and an integer
target, return indices of the two numbers such that they add up to
target. You may assume that each input would have exactly one solution, and you may not use the same element twice. You can return the answer in any order”. For example:
